This Sunday I begin a Weekly link round of the best links in Substack in English of Fantasy and Science Fiction writers. So, let’s share the best links of this last week…
1.- FANTASY:
writes about a woman, Veronica Wilson, who dies and her spirit finds it is inside a house without being able of getting out.brings us a very interesting story about a daughter that returns home where her hated mother still lives… (if you don’t follow these two guys, you really don’t know what you’re missing) are beginning a new story as requested by that is inspired in the story of Beren and Lucien (if you have read the Silmarillion, you know who they are… if not, I’m leaving a video… and read it afterwards):She soon discovers she’s not the house’s only prisoner. Other spirits reveal themselves, some friendly, some not so much, all of them victims of the presence that stole their lives, holds them captive and keeps them in torment. Can she and the other ghosts work together to gain their freedom and move on to the other side?
“For me this time of year also means taking a break from big cities to travel back to my midwestern rural origins and spend happy times with my family and loved ones. Being back in the place I grew up inevitably brings back memories of my writing over the last decade. I remember each triumph and failure with a sudden crispness that matches the fall air”.
2.- SCIENCE FICTION:
is writing an interactive story titled Starshatter (some parts of the story are already published), whose last chapter is titled The Province of Terrans:Get over, read and pick your option!
writes about an event really interesting, the Tunguska Event, but in a very original way: has written a complete series about the Roswell incident but with several differences as he himself writes in his own link:In this alternate history, the Roswell Incident is much more of a defining moment in human history, as it sees us make first contact with an alien race, known as the Kaskari. Unfortunately, for humanity this comes at a bad time as both the planet and the Moon are under siege from different forces, each trying to shift the balance of power in their favour. It falls upon a humble Kaskari engineer named Vadir Kor to navigate not just a new world, but an ancient threat his people had believed they had long left behind.
