We are now in the third Sunday of link roundups… and no one has actually pointed me to the preferred links to be included, so I am choosing the ones I like the best!
1.- FANTASY:
The great
have followed with his Olympnomachi story, this week about the mighty Apollo, his mother Leto and the sword the latter had, “a blade that could smite a god, with the goal of that god being Ares”. Their story intertwines with that of King Iardanus, a good King, murdered by Tmolus, a son of god Ares. They are also writing a story in French “Chute d’Innocence”, whose last chapter is 5-3 “Butin de guerre”.
continues promoting her medieval fantasy story. This week she is linking Chapter 17: A Challenged Secret. A good way to begin reading this saga. continues writing his story: in this chapter, Ligeia wants to form a mental link “the way their lovers do”, so that “she might see the surface through my eyes”, with the protagonist of the story. But that has some inconvenientes: the main one is that, from that moment on, they will have no secrets to each other… has a new chapter of his story Legends of the Privateers, but this time is of a side story, called “Death Whispers”: “Transformed by the cataclysm of 1712, Doctor Pedro Sangre and his four courageous privateer companions confront mysterious and evil forces that plague innocent people. Together, they grapple with uncanny forces and myths come to life, risking everything to preserve peace and set right what has gone wrong”. This time they have to repair their ship, the Duchess… has written about the bloodlust of Elf-Lord Paalen against faeries in the Forest of Abomination, joined by Xelnia, as he wants to speak to the Queen Fairie: he wants to stablish himself in that same Forest! continues his ancient Mythology’s story: “Hades wants to use Garth as bait to capture members of the Brotherhood—and that’s not the worst danger he faces. The one being who might offer a better way out is missing. Oh, and the entire Olympian plane is out of balance and becoming more so by the second”. So, they actually get out of the Underworld… has actually written a story called Winter Wonderland, in which two guys trying to hunt with a great snowstorm that only a god can unleash… writes a Santa’s piece and his “Naughty List”. In Spain, Santa is not the most popular “give-gifts-to-all-who-have-behaved-well”, but the Wise Men, although shops have both depending on the part of Christmas we are. But, anyway, this story is funny… or not… depending on whose eyes you’re looking through… tells, in a very original way, the tale of Jack and the Magical Beans… is writing a graphic novel, “After Atlantis: Bloodbound”, and the chapter is titled Jayesh and the wyvern…And then, there is my own chapter , for anyone who is following the story:
2.- FICTION:
has written the prologue to his novel, “A Time Traveller’s Fable”: “Ten years have passed since the first publicised case of a ‘superhero’ or ‘Empowered’ individual was reported by a respectable media outlet. Although many strange cases of the unexplainable had been reported for half a century, this was the first instance with any real credibility. After everything that has happened in the decade since however, this incident could be viewed as tame”. surprises us with a great story, about the fourth dimension: “In 1884, Edwin Abbott wrote Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions. Abbott’s worldview aligns closely with that of another writer, Lewis Carroll: the multidimensionality of space, paradoxes, absurdity as the very fabric of reality. Yet the absurdity in their works is not simple “madness”, it’s a mathematical – or geometrical – paradox. The White Rabbit is a time traveler, and the tunnel Alice plunges into in pursuit of him can be interpreted as a wormhole. But can geometry become a novel?”It’s a curious article about reality… but also about Science fiction…
3.- OTHERS:

called Rain in the Night.Lots of things to read… So no excuses for being bored!
