has reminded me of something…
One dark evening, a traveler got lost in the woods and lit on his lantern to see clearly what was in front of him. An owl watched him from a tree, which made him uneasy.
He had walked for at least two hours without seeing anyone when he began to smell wax and hear some noises coming from his left. A light was coming closer but he felt afraid and moved away from the light. He lay down on the ground and fell asleep.
The next morning he found a corpse with a face contorted with terror, lying next to him.
