Roads of time fade into ancient stones strewn across the land. Stepping into the woods, mist rises from the forest floor. Dense swirling white air, impossible to see through.
Without warning, the fog is drawn away, pulled skyward in a single inhale. The sound of breathing is deafening, inescapable.

So, let's get down to business:
The city was surrounded by great walls and a big and deep pit, whose water have grown greener after several decades of neglect. Long time ago, it had been a city of music and beauty, where people danced, laughed and lived. But everything changed that winter morning.
Terror spread through the city when it was clear that the darkness that covered everything was no cloud. The great golden dragon had arrived from the North, covering the sky and spitting fire indiscriminately.
Screams of terror echoed throughout the city, while people fled to the mountains through some postern gates in the walls. Some of them were caught by the fire of the malicious dragon, but most of them escaped successfully to the caves.
Seven decades have passed since the dragon’s arrival and people had used to live in the caves, really frightened to get out, as the dragon reigned over the city. No one had dared to get out and walked through its streets, as they were really scared, just imagining the dragon on top of the buildings, watching the exit from the mountain. Even their features have begun to change: their skin had grown lighter each generation and their eyes were now light blue coloured. The change was even more obvious in the new born children.
But then Aiguely was born: he was the first born with dark features since long time ago. His family was terrified: he was the first one who could actually get out and confront the dragon. The prophecy, uttered nearly 350 cycles earlier, seemed true for the first time.
