Thanks for the link! It’s um, not mediev— wait, maybe it is a bit. The dreigiau môr underwater civilization’s more classical Greek (think Athens, elections) than western medieval but they do get about in long robes so … my bad for not being clearer in descriptions! I really recommend getting started with “A Grail for Eidothea” because that’s where I set up this underwater world.
